Donate

As a charity, HAY relies on charitable donations to carry out its crucial work, and that’s why we’re enormously thankful for any financial gift we receive. However big or small, it all adds up and it’s amazing what a massive difference each donation can make to a child or young person’s life.

You can see who has given us such generous support in our About Us section and, if you would like to make a contribution, please visit our Just Giving page to donate quickly and securely online.

Here’s how your generosity could help:

Our The Weekender costs £25,000 per year to run for children who are making the challenging transition from Primary to Secondary school. 7% of them have special or educational needs which require assistance from specialist staff. We need to raise £12,000 a year from voluntary donations to keep it going.

Ready, Steady, Cook is a new project set up to teach young people practical cooking skills and the importance of maintaining a balanced and healthy life style. Sessions run term time every Tuesday for a year. To develop the programme and keep it running for September 2018 – July 2019 it will cost £6500

Our Holiday Provisions costs £10,000 per year to provide a fun, safe, nurturing environment for young people aged 7 – 18 years old (up to 25 with additional needs). This service help provides parents with free / affordable child care during school holidays and provides young people with a range of activities which challenges and develops them. It also provides many young people from the local area the opportunity to go on trips and experience workshops which they would not have the financial means to do so themselves. Activates range from: Community Trips, Arts and Crafts, Multi Sports, Residential Trips, Training and Advice and more

So, if you feel you can give a gift to HAY, please make a donation and change lives today. https://www.justgiving.com/hay/
